Hi, just curious what kind of peoples we have here, I'll go first.

I'm a pseudo-intellectual wannabe-scientist (physics undergrad)

I used to be an artsy hippie musician; I fished commercially in Alaska for some time before deciding on college.

Now I'm just in constant battle with my own ignorance.

Currently working in infrasound.

Elephants use infrasound.

There are some introductions in the other thread.

I bet that fishing in Alaska was quite some experience. I saw
a show on crabfishing boats that were lost at sea and the
full load mark was painted too high. Two boats capsized because they
were overloaded.

I used to be an engineering technician.
